A semi-coherent log for Martin Sønderlev Christensen - mixed with snipets of fun, critical thinking, love of all things connected and other browseworthy items.

Adbusting

Okay here goes! Since Pollas’ Comments here on the page, about broading the redesign-strategy to a range of Adbusting products etc. I have had this “frisk pust over landet” ad on my mind! It has been annoying me on the back of the busses and where else not. And since I haven’t got the balls to go out on the graffiti-limp, putting moustaches on the bunch. I went… photoshopping! So here goes the real “frisk pust over landet” ad, as i’d like to see it - or rather as I DO see it.

…and BTW. I was going to make this post all danish, considering the context, and all. But guess what: Pia Kjærsgaard changed my mind on that one too, by saying that public institutions should be banned from adressing people in other languages than Danish . AHHH thats completly Taliban-thinking. Though I probably agree on that it’s easier to enter the low-end of the danish job-market, if you also speak a fair danish - it is probably managable if everybody wasn’t so pushy about it. But I really don’t see danish language under siege, it’s under change - like it have always been. Get it! Change. And so is every bit of our traditional culture, every bit of our previous way of doing this and that, every bit of what once was is replaced and changed. For better… and for worse. Preservation and cultural restriction or even ideological-driven legislation, will not make things go smoother or run less complex any day soon. It’ll for sure make it even worse, I suspect! I find comfort in that Dansk Folkeparti apparently is the one party that has their policy accessible in most languages!
