As faithfull readers of this blog will notice, after my last design kind of deconstructed itself, I have made yet another redesign of the blog. Yes I know! Seems like all I do around here is arranging the deckchairs on the Titanic…. This time I went for at little more clean and modern look and feel. Adding also some Ajax functionality here and there, see for instance the shelf+ (in the menu). The design and code is themed fauxed courtesy of Karthik Kastury. I have fixed some bugs (I think) and added a few more features such as the amazing spiffybox which is generated in css (no images needed!). Really this site is one big sampling, and I’ll continue to sample.

On another note, I’d like to declare that the summer is over. That’s it! No more varm summernights on the terrace, no more burned shoulder blades, no more gin and tonic before lunch time! Nope. I’m starting work tomorrow, so you see, summer has to end. I’m starting what seems to be a hectic second half of 2006. I going to get involved in some really interesting projects at work. Plus I will (hopefully) get to defend my PhD dissertation! We are still short of one professor or similar to review the stuff. Apparently, it is hard taking the time to read twohundered something pages, fly (business-class) to Copenhagen to give me a academic whop-ass (and get paid for it). So until someone bites the hook, I’m in the twillight zone - between delivered and done!

Anyway, after the redesign (my main reason for having a site) I have however decided to do some more blogging now, not just occational ramblings. What will come out of it, what it will be about, donno! Any suggestions? I’m guessing something like 1/3 personal, 1/3 academic, 1/3 workrelated, 1/3 fun stuff, 1/3 links. Oh wait, that doesn’t sum up. Dammit!
