    Of course you did. Congratulations, Doctor.

  4. Yea of course you managed to do it. Big congrats; now use it, Dr. M! :-)

    Whee!
    Congrats :-)

    You’re not really a doctor yet, are you?

    Technically you have a couple of laps more to go before that, or am I missing something?

    Thank you all – I’m still somewhat dissy from the defence and all the fuzz (and a very late night out in town last night). It has surely been an overwhelming an rather surreal finish! but ultimatly cool!

    @Dalager
    well, technically the PhD is a doctoral degree – Doctor of Philosophy – so in theory I am a Doctor now. But there is no tradition in the Danish system to use the Doctor title.

    All the rounds from PhD and up, are all part of the Doctoral system. So the PhD is like the driverlicense to take the tour, should you aspire to become a professor, and what not!!

    However I will restrain myself responding if someone calls “is there a doctor in house” :)

    HI Martin

    I had a copy of your draft thesis and I’ve been reading it chuck by chunk and find it relevant to my practice-based Phd studies on mobile media performance. A Danish friend actually originally sent it to me in the spring this year or fall last.

    I have corrupted many of my research files due to computer failure this week and only now have a corrupted version of your pdf and can’t seem to find a version of it online anymore. I’m on p125 – “5.12 Mobile Image and Subculture Actions – viral mashing up” and luckily I have a print-out up to p.140 – but I’m wondering if you’d be kind enough to share a digital replacement copy of it for me? In exchange I’m happy to send you a copy of my ‘to be published paper’ in the Intellect Journal this fall on presence and mobile performance.

    Please let me know – your work is important to mine !

    Camille
